Philoptochos

The Philoptochos Society is an official organization of the Greek Orthodox Church in America whose mission is "to promote charitable, benevolent and philanthropic outreach, to preserve the sanctity of life and family, and to perpetuate and to promote our Orthodox faith and traditions." Philoptochos means "friend of the poor."

All women of our parish are invited to become members. Three annual pastry sales help fund the chapter's philanthropic activities Members usually meet once per month after Sunday coffee hour.
